I have 4(keeping one)..i really need to make back for the cost of caring and breeding. any advice tips??? i hate to sell them

I hear you . it is very hard. If you have old english bulldog puppies they are worth 1500.00 each. atleast. Put out ads in every place you can find. If they are american bulldogs. That is the same as a pitbull Depends on your area. in the south they buy them for fighting dogs. and fight them to the death. you could make some money that way. otherwise maybe 100-150 for a pup. I make all applicants come to my house as I breed yorkies and they must have good homes. they are checked out. I sold one small one, and she went to a home that new everything about yorkies and there son was studing to be a vet tech. otherwise should would have stayed here with her twin sister. To small to breed.

I think there cool as babies but i wanna see them walking and opening there eyes..how long untill they’ll walk? drink mile from a bowl(i saw a pic onlin of bullie puppies eating alone at 2.5 weeks)?

day 13 one has his eyes open but still wating..

Puppies usually start to open their eyes between 10 and 14 days. They’re only tiny slits at first and open all the way gradually. By 3 weeks they’ll be getting up on their feet and wobbling around. Don’t feed your puppies any milk. If they need supplementing you need to buy puppy formula. If the dam’s feeding them fine, wait until they’re 4 weeks and start offering them dry puppy food moistened with warm water twice a day. At this time, you can also offer them fresh water several times a day.

How much do they range from? This guy is selling him to me for $150 but I need to know if its too much or too little?? The dog has no registration papers only their shots..so is this price good?? But normally how much do they range from in this situation??

That puppy is underpriced. It is either unhealthy, inbred, or not a purebred. Something smells fishy. When we bought our American Bulldog she was $800 with papers.

Take into consideration we bought a female (more expensive) and they were a reputable breeder with lots of experience. Please do some more shopping around.

Me and my brother want to get my mom an AB puppy for mother’s day. I am having a hard time finding a puppy! It needs to be on LI and NOT from a Puppy Mill!

Shelters and rescue organizations are great places to find dogs of any breed. But, if you want to find one on line, I have to ask what kind of money are you willing to spend? What kind of quality and temperament are you looking for. AB’s come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes as well as different temperaments. There are the Johnson type also known as the Bully type. They are shorter more heavily muscled with a more bulldog look to them. then there is the Scott’s type also known as the standard type. These are slightly taller and less bulky. AB’s can have extremely high drive and that makes them great for weight pulling, protection work etc. there are some who are mellow and laid back, but the majority are not. AB’s require a strong willed leader who is confident and able to handle them. I would do some extra research about the breed and make sure that your mom wants a dog like this before you spring it on her. I find that when giving a dog as a gift it is advisable to involve the person in the choice. This helps eliminate the problem of them not liking the dog you chose.

BLUE AMERICAN BULLDOGS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE, BLUE BRINDLE..I HAVE A WHITE MALE THAT HAS ONE BROWN EAR AND ONE BROWN SPOT ON HIS NECK..HE IS PRETTY.

no sissy names. it would look cute as a puppy then be big as an adult.

Our pup (9 months) is the traditional white and is expected to top out at around 130 lbs, so we named him Glacier. We get a lot of compliments on it.

Our female, we named Kyra. Which means "Ladylike" in Greek. (we are still hoping she’ll live up to it).

Explore your possibilities online. Look for websites that give meanings of the names in other languages and go from there. It’s time consuming. Glacier went thru 3 names in the first 2 days we had him before we settled on the right one.
