Its medium length and they look like silk floating in the wind its too cute. They seem very happy but its my first time having long haired dogs and I was wondering if it is uncomfortable for them. I live in south tx but they are definitely indoors with ac at 75 and their own bedroom. ( I live alone and have a 3 bed 2 bath ) its pretty much a house for rent ha.

Their coats actually protect them from temperature extremes of both hot and cold. There is no reason to cut their hair other than the maintenance intensive nature of a full coat on a Maltese. If you choose the keep it long you must brush them every day all the way to the skin or they will mat up and have to be shaved.

It depends what type of dog she mated with. Smaller dogs tend to have between 1 and 3 but she can have any number of puppies especially if she mated with a largee dog.

Sometimes. As they get older they will calm down. My Maltese was wild, jumping around, barking at other dogs. But she getting older by months and I see the difference. All dogs, when they are young they are very active. Same as Humans very active as kids then as they get old they start being inactive. Hope this helped.
