No. "teacups" are poorly bred runts and should never be bred from. If you bought a show prospect from a quality breeder they would never call it a "teacup" so that tells me you bought a poorly bred pup from a backyard breeder or puppy mill. How much do you know about the previous generations in health and temperament? OFA certifications? Championship titles on YOUR dogs? Probably not. Best to spay and neuter. Chihuahuas are horribly overbred. No need to make more, thanks.
References :
Yes!
they don't have to be 2 years old ,but it is recommended that they are at least 2 years old b/c if it is younger then it would be like getting 16 year old having babies.
I saw a dog that was only a year old (golden) and got babies ,but refused to take care of the baby b/c it doesn't know its duty as a mother.
The dog experts managed to get the golden feed her babies in the end.
References :
First, if you're under the impression that there's a size variety within the breed called 'teacup', it shows a total lack of knowledge of the breed itself and shows you have a very long way to go before you breed anything. Next, if the male is in fact a significantly small representation of the breed, it doesn't necessarily mean he was genetically programmed to be so. Assuming the female is under the 6 lb weight limit for the breed, and he is in fact a runt, he still may pass on genes for larger than average puppies making it difficult for her to whelp. Also, chis are predisposed to uterine inertia, meaning she could attempt to whelp a full term litter the size of raisins and still not produce strong enough contractions to deliver them. I'd suggest a call to your local breed club to ask for a mentor who can not only help you with pregnancy and whelping, but also evaluate both your b*tch and the intended stud for their suitability to each other and for breeding at all
References :
Yes, a larger female can safely carry a litter by a smaller male. It's the other way around that would be dangerous. Ideally, the female should be at least 2 years old. If you wait until 3-4, probably better. She will go into her first heat around 6 months--- do NOT let her be bred at this age.

Please consider, also, that breeding should not be done lightly. There is a very real overpopulation crisis in domestic animals. Spaying and neutering your pets is much more beneficial. Also, the veterinary bills associated with breeding can be steep. It will be your responsibility to ensure that your dogs get all benchmark exams through the pregnancy and until the pups find homes. Ensure that you are prepared if something DOES go wrong, especially since it will be the female's first litter.
References :
A Professional in the Animal Field

Yes. They should be a minimum of 2 years old, and have all the appropriate genetic health tests done *prior* to breeding: http://www.gopetsamerica.com/dog-health/chihuahua-health-problems.aspx

Be aware that "teacups" are just runts and often have serious health issues. Not the best choice to use as a stud, to pass the problems on to his puppies....
References :
You can ask your local clubs or check out directories of reputable breeders in your area.
References :
I am a dog owner and a dog lover at heart and have trained my own dogs since they were puppies. I'm also a representative of http://porchpotty.com. Porch Potty is a self-cleaning grass litter box for dogs. While I think the world of my company, I'm here to help, first and foremost, as a dog advocate.
