we decided to get a friend for Princi our little female maltese, and we where concerned because she never could figure out how to play with other dogs….well, thats over now….

They are adorable,I had the same problem with my Maltese,he didn’t like other dogs,only humans,and we tried every day to socialize him iwht other dogs,finally,I brought home a little female maltese,it took him 2 weeks and me going to the Vet for her second set of shots,when we came home he didn’t care I was back,he had to make sure she came back,been love ever since,3 and 4 yrs old are mine

TO ALL POSTERS: All my life, I have always had German Shephards. They are amazingly regal and highly intelligent. So after our brown and tan Shephard passed away I wasn’t too sure what to do next. It took a while & when we settled on a Maltese we were apprehensive at first being so accustomed to a huge dog. Now, I still luv German Shephard dogs, AND I adore our intelligent & adorable Maltese dogs! Thanks for your posts everyone! Blessings, Deidre

Great video!! I have my second Maltese, “Odette” (2 yrs). “Maggie” lived just over 15years. They are the most delightful pets. (Mine, both healthy at purchase, from the same breeder.) I agree 100% with LifeLightStation … you MUST buy from a reputable breeder. Or, you could EASILY wind up with a very ill dog, with Vet bills for it’s entire lifetime. The price spent for a GOOD puppy is well worth the lack of heartache and misery with a sick animal. Stay FAR AWAY from pet stores

The footage are from different ages, and at this point Nikki is 6 months and Princee is 1 1/2 year. I have heard many different opinions on the maltese breed, but I believe that there are many misunderstandings as far as defining the pure breed. To be sure, we bought ours from a professional maltese breeder. But I am no expert, I just love dogs.
