Where can I find cocker spainel puppies for sale in Indianapolis?
I need to find a puppy that is a cocker spaniel. That is playful cause have another dog and she just lost her best friend and she loves to play. Also if you can give me facts on the breed that would be great
Im still trying to find one I cant seem to find one checked petfinder other places and they cute but are there anymore

call all the animal shelters and a rescue and then try a local akc or ckc breeder in your area make sure they get fixed

Check pet finder, cocker spaniel club of america breeders, shelters, pound, breed rescue.
Make sure that the breeder is checking for genetic conditions and breeding to better the bred.

Heres some information on the breed. They need to be groomed maybe 2 a week and brushed everyday if kept in a show cut (long flowy hair) if its a feild cut (very short) they need to be groomed once every 2 to three weeks. Their ears need to be cleaned about 2-3 times a week they are very prone to ear infections and the hair around the ear canal should be trimmed. Cocker sapniels are prone to eye infections and cherry eye is very common which requires surgery (where the third eyelid flips out) They are big over eaters and tend to be overweight so they need to be kept on a feeding schedule. Also you need to find a good breeder. Badly bred cocker spaniels result in snippy bratty dogs.
